Visual Merchandising Coordinator

We are currently looking for a passionate and talented Visual Merchandiser with a proven background within a high street fashion brand to take responsibility for the visual representation of our 22 UK stores. As a successful candidate you will have proven commercial merchandising experience combined with a natural ability for creative visual display, have great communication and organisational skills and be able to liaise effectively with different stores and departments. You must be creative, self-motivated, with a passion for high street/high fashion retailing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Conducting regular store visits to ensure the maintenance of brand standards, correct product placement, and consistency of fixture layouts.
- Ensuring housekeeping standards are regularly maintained on displays, fixtures and windows.
- Evaluating the need for store VM support through the evaluation of weekly sales breakdown pack.
- Liaising with head office departments on all aspects of VM, offering feedback on VM implementation challenges.
- Working with the buying, merchandising and marketing team to plan seasonal collection layouts and windows.
- Planning, developing, and managing the budget for the monthly window creative.
- Effectively communicating VM tasks, brand focus’ and commercial expectations to store level.
- Coordinating the set up and support of new store openings at area and regional level.
- Day to day management of visual assistants and coaching of store management teams to understand brand visual guidelines.

 Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Visual Merchandiser - Additional experience of high street retail - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Design Assistant Womenswear/Menswear

Joy is currently looking for Womenswear/Menswear Design Assistants to work in our head office on exciting new range developments. The successful applicant will be working in a close-knit team – where interacting with design, buying, marketing/ PR departments, visual merchandisers and the new web content team will give a well-rounded experience of how a dynamic fashion business is operated. We are looking for an enthusiastic designer with a 4 year design degree in Fashion Design and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the industry. A good design eye, sense of colour, style and new trends is essential. The successful candidate will be bubbling over with new design ideas!

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Visual Merchandiser Additional experience of high street retail Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills required: Design: -

-Advanced CAD skills to draw up garments in adobe illustrator is essential

- Photoshop skills – for lay out and graphic design of mood boards for the season

- Production experience - experience liaising with manufacturers in the Far East and trouble shooting - a sound knowledge of garment construction, technical terms and fit - Spec sheet creation – providing full measurements for garments - researching and creating reports on new trends and looks happening at the high end and on street level

Louche Sales Manager

New boutique fashion label, Louche is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to help take our brand to the next level and expand our customer base. We are looking to expand our wholesale accounts through the UK and abroad, and the successful candidate will bring with them live contacts with independent boutiques through Britain and experience in promoting boutique labels. We are looking for someone with a passion and experience in womenswear fashion who will represent our brand values and see the product cycle through from sample sign off through to production.

Skills required:

-At least 2 years sales experience with a strong sales track record with figures to back up your experience

-Good contacts with independent boutiques through the UK and abroad and strong account management skills

-A sound commercial knowledge of the womenswear market – competitors, pricing, and the identification of new wholesale and concession opportunities

-Drawing up critical paths to ensure garments are shipped on time in the required design and quality

- Experience working with far east production is an advantage

- Monitoring orders through to delivery, so all lab dip and bulk fabric approvals,test reports, setting up and working to critical paths to ensure orders were delivered on time

-Negotiating prices with the factories and customers

-Good communication skills – both with the clients and internally with the design and buying to express clients needs

-Self-driven, confident, with a passion for fashion and our label

Marketing Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a progressive, creative and talented marketing professional to take up the post of Marketing Manager for JOY. This role is pivotal in ensuring the JOY Brand Values are maintained across the marketing mix and the wider JOY business through visual and written communication.
Reporting directly to the JOY Managing Directors, a key objective is to create powerful, compelling and unique marketing campaigns that drive brand differentiation and maximum profitability. The role is one of leadership and involves all aspects of managing and leading people as well as working in a cross-functional team with other members of the Joy team.

London Sales Manager

The overall management of the London stores through a team of Store Managers and the support of other departments including marketing, facilities, merchandising, buyers and finance.

Overall purpose: To drive sales in our stores

 Key Result Areas

1. Accountable for sales across the stores
2. Implementation of all company tools and initiatives designed to improve sales performance within all stores
